Olga Prykhodko is a conductor, vocalist, and musicologist. She is the artistic director and conductor of the vocal ensemble of contemporary music Alter Ratio.

Prykhodko was born in Kyiv, Ukraine. She graduated from the Reinhold Glière Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music and the National Music Academy of Ukraine, the department of choir conducting (Prof. Lev Venedyktov). In 2017 Olga received her PhD, the topic of her dissertation is “A cappella choral music of the second half of 20th – beginning of the 21st century: theoretical understanding and performing approaches.”

In 2010 Olga Prykhodko founded the contemporary music vocal ensemble Alter Ratio where she has since been the artistic director, conductor, and manager. Since 2019, Olga Prykhodko has been the co-founder and head of the NGO Alter Ratio Art Group. Since 2022, she has been an artist-in-residence at the Sing Akademie zu Berlin. In 2022, Prykhodko was a guest conductor of RIAS Kammerchor (Berlin).

Olga Prykhodko took part in international competitions such as Jāzeps Vītols 5th International Choral Conductors Competition (Latvia) and the 6th Towards Polyphony International Choir Conducting Competition (Poland). She participated in international festivals, including the Polyfollia International Choral Festival (France), the International Polyphonic Competition Gran-Prix of Europe (Italy), the International Tolosa Choral Contest (Spain), and others.

Olga was a participant in workshops of the European Academy for Choral Conductors (the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, Austria), Professor Johannes Prinz; workshops within the 6th International Competition for Young Choral Conductors (Hungary); workshops of the King's Singers vocal ensemble within the World Choir Games (Latvia); workshops of the vocal ensemble Neue Vocalsolisten Stuttgart within the framework of the “Architecture of Voice” project by Ukho agency (Ukraine), etc.
