Vitalii Vyshynskyi
Vitalii Vyshynskyi (b.1983, Yemilchyne, Zhytomyr Oblast) is a Ukrainian composer, pianist, musicologist, and promoter of classical music.
Vitalii Vyshynskyi received his primary musical education at the Yemilchyne Children’s Music School. In 1998–2002, he studied at the Piano Faculty (class of N. Bodashko) of the Zhytomyr Music School. He graduated from the National Music Academy of Ukraine, where in 2002–2003 he studied piano under Mykhailo Stepanenko, and in 2003–2007 music composition under Yuriy Ishchenko. In 2005, he received a scholarship from the International Association of Richard Wagner Societies (Bayreuth, Germany).
In 2007–2010, Vyshynskyi completed his postgraduate studies at the National Music Academy of Ukraine under Larysa Nebolyubova. In 2008, he was awarded the Scholarship of the President of Ukraine. In 2012, he received his doctorate in the History of Art. In 2012–2019, Vyshynskyi worked at the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University.
In 2014–2015, as a music promoter (lecturer), Vitalii Vyshynskyi collaborated with Zvuk open lecture center at the Closer Art Club in Kyiv. Since 2014, he has worked as lecturer and curator of music programs at Cultural Project, an educational organization in Kyiv. In 2016-2017 he worked as a guest lecturer at Kyiv-Mohyla Business School.
As an expert in the “Analytics of Culture” program, he worked at the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation. Vitalii Vyshynskyi is a member of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine (2011). He has worked at the National Music Academy of Ukraine since 2017.
