Tetiana Khoroshun
Tetiana Khoroshun (born 1996) is a composer of acoustic and electroacoustic music, sound installations, music for performances, cinema, and computer games. She is a co-author and performer in the electroacoustic duet GUMA and “first_tape” group, composer and sound designer in Daraba studio. Khoroshun is a manager of Sed Contra Ensemble.
Tetiana Khoroshun graduated from the National Music Academy of Ukraine. She participated in master classes in acoustic and electro-acoustic music with Jaime Reis (Portugal), Stefan Prince (Belgium), Ake Parmerud (Sweden), Alla Zagaykevych (Ukraine), Mehmed Jan Ozer (Turkey), Annette Van de Horn (Belgium), Thomas Gorbach (Austria), and Jean-François Laporte (Canada).
Tetiana's projects and music have been presented in Austria, Poland, Germany, Slovenia, Croatia, Canada, Azerbaijan, Lithuania, and China. Tetiana participated in projects and performance festivals including Kyiv Contemporary Music Days (Ukraine), Zelyonka Fest (Ukraine), Artil (Ukraine), EM-VISIA (Ukraine), GOGOLFEST (Ukraine), Two Days and Two Nights of New Music (Ukraine), Bouquet Kyiv Stage Festival (Ukraine), Ruhrtriennale (Germany), Toteme Electric Ukraine (Canada/Ukraine/Germany), Jezycki Art Center (Poland), Centrum Kultury Zamek (Poland), Language Exercises (Azerbaijan), The Acousmatic Project (Austria), TO)pot festival (Slovenia), Project Unsimple Chamber Group (China), and others.
Awards
Tetiana Khoroshun is a winner of the Karabyts Competition of Young Composers (Ukraine), the Live Music composers competition (Ukraine), the Yevhen Stankovich International Music Competition (Ukraine), and the International Alexandr Spendiarov Composers Competition (Ukraine). She is the recipient of the Scholarship of the President of Ukraine for young artists (2019) and the Grant of the President of Ukraine (2019). As a part of creative teams, Khoroshun was a GRA Theater Awards nominee (Ukraine) and Dora Mavor Moore Awards nominee for best theater music (Canada).
